The firm, started in 1978, presently includes four CPA's with over 100 years of professional experience in accounting, taxation, and business consulting.
Our secretary and office manager, Darleen, has been with us for over 20 years, keeping the office on schedule and allowing us to meet all government filing deadlines. Bret Caron is a partner of Caron & Caron, LLC.
Previously he was in the tax departments of KPMG, Grant Thornton, and Elliot & Warren before joining Caron & Caron, LLC in 2008.
Specializing in tax planning and tax filings, Bret has significant experience in mariner and maritime taxation issues.
In addition, he specializes in real estate, entertainment industry, and restaurants.
He has been in practice since 2004 serving a variety of individual and business clients.
A Louisiana native, Bret received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and received his Masters Degree in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Figure and pay your estimated tax on income that is not subject to withholding (for example, earnings from self-employment, interest, dividends, rents, alimony, etc.)
Consider completing a new Form W-4 each year and when your personal or financial situation changes.
Provide your correct SSN or other TIN to the person who is required to file an information return with the IRS to report, for example, income paid to you, real estate transactions, mortgage interest you paid, acquisition or abandonment of secured property, cancellation of debt, or contributions you made to an IRA.
