Chris received his bachelor's degree from Saint Mary's College and subsequently attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for post-graduate work in accounting and finance.
Prior to 2000, Chris worked as a controller for private businesses - including his family's aggregate and ready-mix operations.
In 2000, he began his career in public accounting, when he took a management position at an established regional accounting firm in San Luis Obispo.
