After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, Steve earned a bachelor of science in Accounting from Mesa State College.
After working a couple years for a local firm in Grand Junction, Steve and a friend started their own accounting firm.
He helped build the firm into one of the leading firms in the area.
Staying true to his roots as a farmer and rancher, Steve and his brother purchased a large vegetable farm on the outskirts of Grand Junction.
